The Russian enamel letters on the silver ribbon on the obverse of the badge read "The Chorus of HIM the Heir Tsarevich". The badge is in the form of a shield, covered with blue enamel. Above the harp, there are initials of the heir "AA" surmounted by the Imperial crown. The year 1872 commemorates the year of the founding of the Choir of the Heir Tsarevich, in which Alexander III participated until his accession to the throne in 1881. Russian silver hallmarks on the suspension loop. Weight: 0.4 oz., 10g.
