A Russian Imperial Order of Saint Anne in gold, II Class, with red and white enamels. The center medallion depicts a hand-painted miniature of St. Anne on the obverse and a blue monogram on the reverse, the loop is hallmarked "56" for 14K gold. The order is marked by AK (Albert Keibel) underneath the enamel on the bottom ray on the reverse. The Imperial Order of St. Anne is an order established in 1735 as a dynastic award of the Duchy of Holstein-Gottorp and introduced on April 5, 1797, by the decree of Emperor Paul I in the award system of the Russian Empire to distinguish clergymen, military, civil and court ranks, as well as foreigners. The order of Saint Anne had 4 degrees.
