Two plates from the Imperial Porcelain Factory, based on the Babigon service. Polychrome overglaze painting, gilding. One plate on the back has a factory stamp with the green monogram of Nicholas II over the date 1902, the other plate stamped with the green underglaze Slavic script monogram of Alexander III over the date (18)89. The Babigon service was made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in 1823-1824. Initially, the ensemble, designed for 100 people and consisting of 1,500 items, was intended for the Great Peterhof Palace. In the middle of the 19th century, the kitchenware complex was transferred to the Babigon pavilion built near Peterhof.
