An antique papier-mâché hexagonal box, varnished, and hand-painted with scenes from peasant life. The lid is decorated with a painting depicting three girls and a charioteer in a carriage drawn by three horses. Late 19th-century.
Dimensions: H: 4 3/4 in., (12.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with expected signs of wear.
