A late 19th-century Russian porcelain hand-painted figurine depicting a dancing peasant woman in a Russian red sarafan with a white apron and a white blouse with wide sleeves. The figurine is realistically modeled and carefully painted. Under the base stamped with a red overglazed factory mark "Gardner" unred the imperial double-headed eagle; an impressed number 222, and a factory mark. Gardner Porcelain Manufacturer was considered the best porcelain enterprise of the Russian Empire.
