Order of Tudor Vladimirescu, 1st Class, Issued in 1966-1989. Multi-piece construction, silver gilt and enamels with fourteen inlaid glass stones, 48.7 mm x 52.3 mm, horizontal pinback, extremely fine. Tudor was a 19th Century ‘revolutionary’ leader sized upon by the Romanian Communist government as an historical hero.
