Designed by Obermaier, in an un-glazed, biscuit finish. The Fencer combines artistic elegance with technical excellence and establishes the little-known SS porcelain manufacturer, "Allach-Munchen GmBH" at the beginning of 20th-century European porcelain. Dressed in loose briefs, The Fencer stands proudly on a square base, with one arm against the body, and the other holding the fencing sword. The base features incised artist’s name "O. Obermaier". On the verso are the incised model number ’83’ and Allach’s famous arrows.
Dimensions: H: 11 3/4 in., (30 cm.)
Condition: Very good without apparent signs of restoration
