A gold damascened helmet, the hemispherical skull with central spike, adjustable nasal-guard flanked by two plume-holders, vandyked chain mail of riveted iron rings, and original padded textile-covered lining, profusely decorated throughout with fine gold-damascened koftgari work. India, 19th century.
