Russian Guard Du Corps Helmet Shell A rare Russian Guard Du Corps copper helmet shell. Ca. 1900. The helmet-style was introduced in 1846 and was used in the service until 1914. The lobster-tail helmet is similar in appearance to the Prussian GdC’s gold-toned, Hohenzollern Eagle-topped helmet.
