WW2 US CIVIL DEFENCE UNIT HELMET, O.C.D.

Original WW2 period steel helmet with canvas sweatband webbing, marked "FIRST-AID" on the front and stamped on the inside "U.S. GOV’T PROPERTY O.C.D." These helmets were made for the US Government and used by the Office of Civilian Defense (OCD) during WWII.

Dimensions: 13 x 11 3/4 in.

Condition: Very good
