U.S. M37 pattern wool shirt in olive drab shade no. 33 ("light shade"), green stitching, two flap pockets, dark green buttons with double buttoned sleeve, reinforced button-hole liner strip; original label by “NAVAL CLOTHING DEPOT” with blank space for Name and Service No. and factory stamped “Contract No. 19045B” and “Size 17 ½ X 34" With original insignia on both sleeves. The M37 shirt pattern was common until approximately 1943 when the Army changed to the convertible collar style.
