Hermann Sattler (German, 1892 – 1945) watercolor and ink on paper battle scene, titled: "Schlacht am Yalu. Kampf der 12. Japanischen Division am Aiho. (1. Mai 1904)" Signed and dated: "H. Sattler 1906" lower right. This original work depicting the Battle of the Yalu of the 12th Japanese Division, May 1, 1904, was used for a book graphic.
Dimensions: 19 1/2 x 13 in., (49.5 x 33 cm.)
