Khorasan bronze ewer is made of several sheets of bronze hand-hammered and welded. Decorated in relief around the neck with repoussé figures of lions. The body is engraved with stylized Kufic inscriptions and floral designs. With traces of gilding on the surface. Probably Herat.
Dimensions : H: 14 3/4 in., (36.5 cm.)
Condition : Overall condition good. Light wear and minor scratches.
