A view of Constantinople by Pfaehler von Othegraven (Pfaehler von Othegraven, Reinhard 1875 Frankfurt am Main — 1932). The artist dedicated a lot of paintings to the WW1 Front. Since Germany was allied with Turkey and stationed 100000 soldiers there, the Ottoman Empire was the artist’s favorite subject. Signed lower left.
