Near East, Persia. An eight-sided shape mortar because the octagonal form represents the eight-pointed star, Rub el Hizb cast leaded-brass. The mortar has a loop and ring handle on one side. The mortar shows signs of use and are covered with a dark patina. 15th century.

Condition : Overall condition good, nicely patinated body
