Carl Thieme antique Dresden hand-painted porcelain figurine of Napoleonic Marshal Jean-de-Dieu Soult. Signed: Soult, to the backside. The figurine is very detailed, neatly painted, some details are decorated with gilding. Germany, circa 1915. Marked Carl Thieme, Dresden, M10833 (?) to the underside.Carl-Johann Gottlob Thieme started in 1864 in Dresden porcelain and antique shop. He was also running a porcelain painting business.
