A stunning Guro Mask from the Ivory Coast of Africa. The mask is very colorful, colored in red, blue, yellow pigments. The face is oblong, with elongated cheeks and a narrow nose. The mask contains carved horns of various animals, and a bluebird with a yellow beak is carved in the upper part. Such masks were danced in various ceremonies.Late 19th — early 20th cc.
