An antique "named" Fraternal Ceremonial sword named for the Militant Patriarchs of the 19th century, Odd Fellows. Manufactured by MC Lilley & Co Columbus, Ohio.The Militant Patriarchs were established in 1885 by the Sovereign Grand Lodge, the international governing body of Odd Fellowship.The blade is engraved with the name of the former owner "CHAS R. WRIGHT". The ricasso is stamped by the manufacturer: "MCLilley & Co Columbus Ohio".The original chrome-plated metal scabbard features gilt-bronze cast mounts.
