Boris Kustodiev oil on panel painting depicting a street scene in a Russian village with a group of men and a woman in a red shawl. Signed in Cyrillic at the lower left: “B. Kustodiev.” Boris Mikhailovich Kustodiev (1878 — 1927) Russian and Soviet artist, portrait painter, theater artist, decorator. Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1909). Member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (since 1923).

Dimensions: 8 3/8 x 6 1/4 in., (21.3 x 15.9 cm.)

Condition: very good, top right corner damaged, only under UV light it is visible that top right corner wasn’t varnished fully..
