A Romanticism-style oil on canvas landscape painting by Alois Arnegger (Austrian, 1879 — 1963). Signed in red at the lower right. Professionally framed. Alois Arnegger was born in Vienna in 1879. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and was taught by Robert Russ and August Eisenmenger. Arnegger became famous for his scenic paintings and is most known for his romantic landscapes of rural life.
Dimensions: 20 1/16 x 16 1/8 in., (51 x 41 cm.)
Condition: very good, minor sign of wear on the frame, under UV light seems that went through some restoration on the bottom half
