A magnificent large parcel-gilt presentation lidded cup dated 18th of August 1839, given to a Russian Army cavalry officer for a horse race, first prize. Russian silver hallmarks: 84 standard, St. George for Moscow, A.K in Cyrillic (P-L, p # 208, fig # 2199: An unknown maker, 1835 – 1849) Weight: 11.2 oz., 490 g.
Dimensions: H: 7 1/2 in., (18.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good with minor scratches and light patina at the inner part of the handle.
