A Russian (possibly by the Imperial Porcelain Factory) plate richly decorated with gilding with a painting in the center, probably depicting the goddess of spring Flora, accompanied by Cupid. Unmarked. Russia, circa 1820.
Dimensions: D: 9 1/8 in., (23 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with two minor spots of the paint loss toward the bottom and partial loss of the gilding on the rim.
