An early cuirassier saber, model 1783/4, straight double fullered blade with inspection marks. Brass Fleur de Lys hilt with, wire bound leather grip, with original leather thumb loop, stamped on the guard by the manufacturer with "B". Original stitched leather scabbard with brass chape and fittings with suspension rings.

Dimensions: L: 44 7/8 in., (114 cm.)

Condition: Very good, some expected oxidation to the blade
