A classic bronze figure of Augustus Caesar of Prima Porta, 19th-century. The emperor depicted standing a contra posto, his right arm raised and his left arm holding a scepter. His armor is finely cast with relief depictions of classical scenes, the circular base cast with a small winged putto sitting on a dolphin.
Dimensions: H:13 3/8 in., (34 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
