? Russian Soviet model 1927 Shashka in white metal fittings. Pommel with "CCCP" carved wood handle. Blade has manufacturer’s inspection marks and stamped "ZIZ" and dated 1936, Leather covered scabbard with white metal fittings stamped with inspection marks, complete with bayonet. M1927 shashkas in white metal were issued to the officers of the NKVD (the Peoples Commissariat of Internal Affairs)
