A pair of French, reign of Luis XV flintlock pistols with silver mounts. The lock plates are engraved with the maker’s name. Signed by BERNARD a Castillon. The carved wooden stock is mounted with silver plaques bearing the owner’s initials: "ML". The barrels are around, smoothbore. The furniture is of silver, the butts are mounted with stylized hammered-silver terminals.
Dimensions: 13 3/8 in., (34 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, minor scratches to the stock. Good action.
