? WW2 US 82nd Airborne M1 helmet named for heading. 100% WW2 Airborne issue that belonged to a Major which is evident by the trace of the insignia that was previously attached to the liner’s front. The maker stamped is on the liner as well as it is stamped on the interior of the liner right on the top middle. Reissued after the War to another 82nd Airborne ???????: Peter E. Ragus, who died in a plane crash with Lloyd Madsen on June 25th, 1951 in Fresno, California.
