A Russian replica of the famous bronze monument of Peter the Great "Bronze Horseman" by Etienne Maurice Falconet (French, 1716-1791) in St. Petersburg, Russia. The pink granite base bears the inscription "Petro Primo Catharina Secunda MDCCLXXXII" in Italian on the one side and in Russian on the other.
