A Chinese/Mongolian sword and scabbard. Qing Dynasty, 19th century. The steel blade is attached to a hilt with a curving jade handle above a guard with chased decoration. The chased silver-plated scabbard is decorated with six carved jade inserts and corals.

Dimensions: L: 32 5/16 in., (82 cm.)

Condition: Good considering age, some stones lost, minor dents in crossguard and patina on blade
