A fine replica of Napoleon I Bonaparte ceremonial sword. Gilt brass hilt with rocaille motifs, with a helmet head on the one side, and the figure of the goddess of war Athena on the other. Gilt brass cross guard with the crowned imperial eagle. Finials end with lion’s heads. Double-edged straight blade. The top part of the blade is etched and blued with martial motifs. Possibly made by the Franklin Mint circa 1970.
