A Grenadier’s briquet saber, model 1770, of an elite company, quadrangle grip with no torons, blade is engraved on one side "Republique Francaise" and on the other "Vaincre ou Mourir Pour La Nation". the hilt is also engraved on the side with "Francois Berthau".
