A superb heavy cavalry saber, model AN XI, straight double fullered blade engraved on the rib "Manufacture Imperiale du Klingenthal Octobre 1813" and stamped with factory markings "L" and "B". Brass hilt with the three-bar guard, stamped on the guard by the manufacturer "35" "F" and regimental marking "3861"; ribbed leather grip wound with twisted wire.
Dimensions: L: 43 7/8 in., (111.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good, no scabbard.
