A rare Austrian Model 1765 Grenadier hanger. These hangers were produced only from 1765 to 1769. The Engraved single-edged blade bears a Crowned crest on either side and has a narrow fuller. Brass D-shaped hilt with leather grip. Original stitched leather scabbard with brass throat fitting (chape is missing).
Dimensions: L: 28 3/8 in., (72 cm.)
Condition: Good with expexted oxidation and pitting.
