Very nice 17th-century German wheellock rifle converted into a flintlock hunting rifle. Wood, steel, bronze. The wooden stock is mounted in brass, inlaid with mother-of-pearl. It is decorated with a carved scene of a dog hunting on a wild boar and decorative curls. Steel fittings with engravings. 18th century or earler.
Dimensions: L: 52 3/4 in., (134 cm.)
Condition: Very good considering the age.
