Very interesting Indian axe, 19th century. The head is made of cast bronze, at the rear, there are two bronze-cast heads of animals looking in opposite directions, the crescent-shaped blade is mounted to a bronze-cast bird. A hollow iron shaft with a ring in the middle. In the upper part of the shaft, a diamond-shaped tip is screwed to a ramrod, in the lower part there is a bronze tip.
Dimensions: L: 24 3/16 in., (61.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
