An antique North Indian Marathi-origin steel round-headed mace or a gurz with a spiked spherical head. The spikes are mounted into the steel globe. The solid cylindrical shaft holds a spike to the tip. Ends in a hilt surrounded by round terminals. Mid 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 36 1/4 in., (92 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
