Antique Fine Russian Caucasian leather belt. Very seldom encountered, for use with a shashka. Complete with original leather and silver mounts, engraved and niello. Silver mounts are decorated with traditional Caucasian floral decor. On one of the silver details, there is an inscription, "Алакаев Юсуп Магамедович 1939 г." Early 20th century.
Dimensions: L (closed): 22 7/16 in., (57 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
