An antique Continental Europe wrought and cast iron strongbox of a rectangular form on four feet with one forged metal handle mounted to the lid. Decorated with rivets on triangle plates throughout the bottom rim. With a lock. Dated to the 18th century or earlier.

Dimensions: 9 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 6 1/4 in., (24.1 x 8.9 x 15.9 cm.)

Condition: Very good with nice patina throughout, the key is missing.
