WW1 US victorious over German eagle bookends. A pair of heavy cast bronze bookends, created at the end of WW1 to commemorate the American victory over Germany and her allies, An American eagle with spread wings stands atop a defeated Hapsburg eagle with a crown atop its head. Both have a piece of metal welded over them likely at a later date, one of which is no longer attached.
Dimensions: 7 1/2 x 8 1/4 in., (19 x 21 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
