An extremely rare Nazi German WW2 award certificate congratulating a Sturmgeschutz, or assault gun unit, for shooting down an enemy airplane over Crimea with small arms fire from the ground. Dated 1944. Bears a facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler’s lower left, a blind embossed national eagle within a wreath of oak leaves to the lower right, as well as a large national eagle with a swastika at top.
Dimensions: 11 13/16 x 8 1/4 in., (30 x 21 cm.)
Condition: Excellent.
