An officer’s sword, 1856 pattern. Nickel-plated, single-edged blade with a double-edged point and fullers. The blade is decorated with etching. Nickel-plated guard. Fish skin covered grip with brass wire wrapping. Nickel-plated scabbard with two suspension rings. A very rare item.
Dimensions: L: 42 in., (107 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall, the scabbad chrome-plate is patially lost.
