With a tapered Damascus steel blade, handle with carved amethyst scales riveted with two gilded copper flowers, chiseled gilt-brass hilt with foliage, and tang decorated with geometrical diamond patterns. Scabbard with chape and chiseled gilt copper stud with lush floral foliage. Rajasthan, North India, 19th century.
