Burgonet, the second half of the 16th century, Italy, In iron, the skull in one piece with a medium-high comb and twisted border, sharpened brim a recessed band and hemmed border, back part is carved en suite. The comb and sides are engraved. Cheekpiece with airing holes shaped as rosette and borders carved en suite. A row of rivets with brass rosettes. Plume-holder is attached to the back of the helmet.

Dimensions: H: 14 in., (35.6 cm.) L: 16 in., (40.6 cm.)

Condition: Good, patina and rust due to age
