Fine german percussion shotgun, late 19th century. Produced in Augsburg Germany by Otto Hammerer. The barrels are made of Damascus steel with a beautiful Damascus pattern. The barrel rail also engraving inscribed with OTTO HAMMERER IN AUGSBURG. The steel parts with the exception of the barrel with very beautiful and extensive engraving with floral decor. Checkered walnut stocks with cheek rest and ornate trigger guard. The smaller bore is rifled, cal. 11 mm., and the larger bore is smooth, 18 mm. Excellent collectible condition.
