A Russian Imperial Medal For Zeal, made of silver. The obverse features a leftward-facing profile of Tsar Nicholas II circumscribed by his name and title in Russian Cyrillic. The reverse holds a floral design and bears the inscription For Zeal. Comes with a loop for suspension from its period original neck ribbon with a bronze clasp. Early 20th century. This medal was awarded to citizens and military personnel of the Russian Empire for displaying exceptional zeal towards the state.
