ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND MILITARY DECORATIONS
Lot 235:
A pair of antique American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial swords with etched decorated blades. One holds the following lettering: Trinity Encampment, Manchester N. H. 1857, and a Passion Cross image. Manufactured by Ames Manufacturing Company, Chicopee, Massachusetts, circa the mid late 19th century. Goes with a leather scabbard, while the other has a brass scabbard with rings. Both have wood handles with brass knight head pommels, and guards feature images of eagles with stars to the edges.
