Lot 270:
A large Caucasian Black Sea region type (Chernomorsky) kindjal. The hilt is a solid carved bull horn with two rivets, wide (3 inches, 77 mm.) blade with wide and narrow fillers on either side and the maker’s mark is deeply stamped on the forte, a wood scabbard covered in black leather, steel mounts. Circa 19th century.

Condition: Very good overall.
