A massive Khyber knife, the hilt is a combination of steel ferrule and carved horn scales secured by three metal rivets, a typical T-spine, etched decoration depicting birds, crowned faces, and Arabic inscriptions. Wood scabbard covered with stitched brown shagreen and steel chape. References: Bladed weapons in Islam, collector’s ABC, pp. 23 and 24.

Condition: Very good with expected signs of wear.
