Qajar steel battle axe Tabarzin, Iran, mid to late 19th-century. The blade is of a characteristic crescent shape with a cutting edge and a square hammer on the opposite side of the blade. The axe head has engraved stylized floral patterns. The shaft is tapering round-section form with a spike at the tip. Iran, 19th cen.
