With a slightly curved wide blade with one fuller on each side and T-spine. Etched inscriptions on both sides of the blade, including peacock figures. Curved down silver crossguard with fluted cap finials with engraved pattern. Massive two-piece horn grip, with an engraved spine. Embossed stitched leather silver-mounted scabbard with decorative engravings and sling swivels. Raised star and crescent present on the top flitting. Ottoman Empire, 18-19 cc.

Condition: Good overall, the chape is a replacement (from a Persian shamshir)
